Hi, I’m Lauren, and I tell visual stories.

Forging a career as a production designer, filmmaker, and fine artist, my focus is on telling visual stories that capture the full spectrum of human emotion around cultural events and shared experiences.

Having lived in Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, and now Houston, my path has evolved from a foundation in set design toward large-scale works on paper and canvas. My paintings seek to distill broad social and emotional concepts into visual forms that reveal the threads connecting us all.

Through projects exploring race, culture, motherhood, and identity, I aim to create spaces where complex emotions can take shape and invite reflection. My work is expressive, colorful, and textural—combining finger painting, drawing, and bold brushwork to mirror the layered ways we experience culture. I strive to create pieces that draw the viewer in and encourage them to stay a while.

I’ve had the privilege of contributing to video productions and fine art installations for both global and local organizations, including Evanescence, Red Sofa Creative, ViiV Healthcare, UW Medicine, Woodinville Arts Alliance, and Marste Clothing.
